Huawei unwraps its new Nova 7 lineup comprising three new devices — the Nova 7 Pro, Nova 7, and Nova 7 SE. They all share 5G connectivity, 64MP primary sensor, and a 4,000mAh cell with 40W fast charging in common, while differs in screen and processor. The Huawei Nova 7 and Nova 7 Pro powers on a Kirin 985 chipset whereas the Nova 7 SE carries Kirin 820.
Let’s take a brief look at each device.
Huawei Nova 7 Pro
The Huawei Nova 7 Pro flaunts a 6.57-inch FHD+ curved OLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display has a dual punch-hole cutout giving room to 32MP and 8MP selfie shooters and an embedded fingerprint sensor underneath.
The back of the device carries a quad-camera setup: a 1/1.7” 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, an 8MP periscope sensor with OIS and 5x optical and 50x hybrid zoom, and a 2MP macro sensor. Similarly, at the helm of it lies a Kirin 985 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB onboard storage. It comes with a 4,000mAh battery with 40W fast charge support while running on Android 10 based EMUI 10.1.
The Huawei Nova 7 Pro will ship in Black, Purple, Green, Red, and Silver colors with pre-orders already started in China. The official sale is scheduled to commence as of 8 April. The device is priced at CNY 3,700 (~$522/NPR 64,000) for the base 8GB/128GB variant and CNY 4,100 (~$580/INR 70,000) for the 8GB/256GB trim.
Huawei Nova 7
The Huawei Nova 7 comes with a 6.53-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display gets a single punch hole cutout housing a 32MP selfie snapper and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The device flaunts a quad-camera setup at the back comprising a 64MP primary sensor alongside an 8MP ultrawide, an 8MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical and 5x hybrid zoom, and a 2MP macro shooter.
The Nova 7 carries the same Kirin 985 chipset, a 4,000mAh battery with 40W fast charge support. Also, the memory configuration remains the same at 8GB RAM and 128/256GB onboard storage.
The phone will ship in Black, Purple, Green, Red, and Silver colors. As for the availability, the official sale is scheduled to start from 28 April at a price of CNY 3,000 (~$425/NPR 52,000) for the 8GB/128GB trim and CNY 3,400 (~$480/NPR 59,000) for 8GB/256GB variant.
Huawei Nova 7 SE
The youngest in the Nova 7 lineup and a toned-down vanilla Nova 7, the Nova 7 SE, sports a 6.5-inch IPS display that has a punch hole cutout housing a 16MP selfie snapper. The LCD display means the fingerprint sensor is mounted at the side of the device.
Moving on to the camera, the Nova 7 SE carries a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and finally a 2MP depth sensor.
The device powers on a Kirin 820 5G chipset paired along with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB onboard storage. It’s also supplied with a 4,000mAh cell with 40W fast charge support.
It is available in Black, Purple, Green, and Silver colors while shipping at CNY 2,400 (~$340/NPR 42,000) for 8GB/128GB trim and CNY 2,800 (~$395/NPR 49,000) for the 8GB/256GB variant. The pre-order has already started while the official sales will take off as of 28 April.
