Honor has launched the new Honor 8S Pro in Nepal for the price of Rs. 13,800. The phone, compared to the Honor 8S, brings a higher RAM and storage.
It still has the same 5.71-inch HD+ panel with a 19:9 aspect ratio and dewdrop notch at the top that holds a selfie camera. There’s no fingerprint scanner but it gets face unlocking and a dual texture back.
The Honor 8S Pro gets its power from the same MediaTek Helio A22 processor seen on the vanilla Honor 8S. The only change we can see is in terms of memory configuration — it now has 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There’s still an option for expansion via microSD card up to 1TB.
For the camera, there’s a single 13MP main shooter at the back with an f/1.8 lens, while the front boasts a 5MP f/2.2 sensor that comes into work while face unlocking.
You’re still getting Android 9 Pie out of the box with EMUI 9, however, the good thing is that it supports Google Play Services, so you don’t have to totally depend on HMS.
Keeping the lights on is a 3,020mAh battery which carries power via a microUSB port. Besides that, it has dual SIM and Wireless FM Radio support.
