The new entrance in the Nepali market, ZOPO has officially debuted three Color series smartphones in Nepal. Dubbed as the Color F5, Color F2, and Color C2 the smartphones are targeted to budget-centric users. While the Color F5 was already listed on e-commerce site Kaymu, the remaining two smartphones are fairly new in Nepali market. Apex Mobile — a subsidiary of Apex Group Nepal is responsible for the distribution of ZOPO smartphones in Nepal.
ZOPO Color F5
The metal framed phone from ZOPO is priced at Rs. 14,990 in Nepal. The phone sports a 5-inch 720p IPS LCD display covered up with 2.5D curved glass. Inside, the phone is powered by MediaTek’s MT6737 quad-core chipset and Mali T720-MP1 GPU. The handset is backed up by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable via a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a 2100mAh battery. The phone also features a fingerprint scanner at the back.
The Color F5 boasts an 8MP rear camera with f/2.8 aperture and LED flash capable of capturing 1080p videos. Up front, the phone comes with a 2MP sensor with similar aperture rate and LED flash. Connectivity option includes dual-SIM(Micro+Nano) with 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, and A-GPS.
ZOPO Color F2
The Color F2 comes with a bigger 5.5-inch 720p IPS display and a 2300mAh battery inside. Underneath, the phone packs a similar MT6737 quad-core chipset from MediaTek. Memory wise, the phone is paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. The 4G supported phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Camera wise, the handset borrows similar sensor from its counterpart — boasting 8MP rear and 2MP front camera, both with LED flash. Rest assure the phone resembles the specs of Color F5. The Color F2 can be purchased for the price of Rs. 13,990 in Nepal.
ZOPO Color C2
The Color C2 comes with some compromises, thus bearing low price tag. The handset is especially targeted to those users bearing tight budget or is looking forward to experiencing the Android smartphone for the first time. The phone features a 2.5D curved 5-inch 720p IPS display with a pixel density of 293ppi. Under the hood, the phone is powered by MediaTek’s MT6580 quad-core chipset coupled up with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through a microSD card slot.
Despite targeted to budget-centric users the handset carries a brushed metal look giving it a premium look, however, the phone lacks a fingerprint scanner as oppose to the aforementioned one.
The Color C2 houses 5MP rear camera with f/2.8 aperture, autofocus and LED flash, while the front is handled by a 2MP sensor and LED flash. Connectivity option includes dual-SIM with 3G support, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and GPS. The price of the smartphone is yet to announced.
