Samsung Mobile Nepal has officially released its new Galaxy J7 Prime 2 in Nepal. Despite being a successor to last year’s J7 Prime — which was a commercial success — the phone comes with some minimal changes, mostly in terms of internals.
The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 borrows a similar design to its predecessor. The screen size remains same at 5.5-inches. While the whole world is moving towards the bezel-less trend, the Prime 2 still carries huge chunks of bezels both at the top and bottom. Inside is the where we start to see some changes. Though the chipset is still similar to the J7 Prime — i.e. Exynos 7870 — the RAM and internal storage have changed to 4GB and 64GB respectively. The J7 Prime, last year, came with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
The phone shines an upgraded camera as well. The rear has a 13MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture, while the front also carries a similar 13MP camera with the same aperture. The wide aperture of the phone means that it will absorb more light, offering well-lit images even in low-lighting conditions. And with LED flash both at the front and back, the phone sure will work wonder in any given conditions.
Out of the box, the Galaxy J7 Prime 2 still runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. And battery capacity of the phone also remains unchanged at 3,300mAh. As for the price, the handset can be purchased for Rs. 28,990 in Nepal.
