GBG BizFest 2019 is going to be held on January 5, 2019, Saturday. The fest is being hosted by Google Business Group Kathmandu, which is a community of business professionals. GBG BizFest 2019 is said to be Nepal’s biggest startup meet and it’s free for the public.
This very kind of technology and business expo is being organized in the main collaboration with Khalti.
Similarly, the event is said to be being organized to bring entrepreneurs and startup-founders from all across Nepal together in a single stage. And, developers and representatives from a majority of Nepal’s most popular Android apps are expected to participate in the event.
Amit Agrawal, GBG Kathmandu manager commented about the event as “GBG BizFest is an annual event happening in different countries throughout the world. We are excited to host this event for the first time in Nepal and bring all the emerging startups under one umbrella. Through this platform, tech-entrepreneurs of Nepal will get an opportunity to learn new strategies and expand their businesses with the Google technology. In this event, we are expecting the participation of entrepreneurs, business professionals, developers, students, and anyone who has an interest in Google and its services.”

As a part of this event, industry experts will deliver various workshops thereby participants will get to hear them. These experts will talk about Google’s suite of tools for online marketing (including Google Analytics and Google Ads), modern organization growth hacks, and so on. The event will also have a dedicated stall for Google My Business.
Startups can enlist themselves in Google’s business ‘directory’ so that the customers can find their location, working hours and other details more conveniently. This will also help these startups’ websites get search engine optimized.
