Huawei Watch GT 2, a successor to Huawei Watch GT is now up for sale in Daraz as well as offline stores in Nepal. The watch is available in two different models globally — a 46mm and a 42mm one — however, users in Nepal will have to settle for a 46mm classic edition.
The new Watch GT 2 gets a slightly smaller dimension, i.e. 45.9 x 45.9 x 10.7 mm (1.81 x 1.81 x 0.42 in) over the previous Watch GT, which had a dimension of 46.5 x 46.5 x 10.6 mm (1.83 x 1.83 x 0.42 in).
The build, however, is the same stainless steel frame and ceramic black. Similarly, the watch gets a 1.39-inch OLED capacitive touchscreen with 454 x 454 pixels resolution that translates to a 1:1 aspect ratio and 326ppi pixel density. And the sensors include accelerometer, gyro, heart rate, barometer, compass.
It gets powered up by Huawei Kirin A1 SoC and runs Lite OS. It also sports a built-in microphone and speaker allowing users to receive calls up to 50m distance. And you can listen to music as well.
About memory, the new Huawei Watch GT2 comes with 32MB RAM and 4GB internal storage availability.
Apart from that. the Watch GT2 will help you with your fitness too. It has TruSleep for sleep monitoring, TruRelax for stress monitoring, TruSeen for heart-rate monitoring, and a calorie counter offering you statistics for each. It also allows users to check messages, emails, or any other notifications directly through its UI. The presence of the GPS tracker is accounted for as well.
As for the battery, the watch carries a non-removable Li-Ion 455mAh battery that gets fully charged in less than 2 hours. The theoretical battery life is 2 weeks — better in comparison to what smartwatches from other brands like Samsung or Apple offer.
