Oppo’s new flagship, the Oppo Find X2 will shortly be up for a show. However, very less is on talks regarding its specifications but it’s almost sure that it will lack under-display camera tech.
On the other hand, a Weibo source — a quite reputable one unveils its device specifications. It’ll allegedly carry a 6.5-inch curved OLED display with 1140 x 3168 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Moreover, users will also get to choose between FHD+ and QHD+ resolution and 60Hz or 120Hz refresh rate as they prefer. This points towards a QHD+ screen at a 120Hz refresh rate. And if it’s true, eyes will be on Samsung with gossips going about its ineptitude to combine a QHD screen and a 120Hz refresh rate in upcoming Samsung Galaxy S20 series phones.
Again, we are yet to encounter the device and it could get introduced with any possible combination of aforementioned specifications. There may be hardware and software constraints or limitations on display modes for fitting user experience. Even battery usage shall be considered.
However, it seems assured that the 5G device will carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. Also, the Oppo Find X2 will supposedly feature a camera image sensor with “omnidirectional” autofocus, which is a successor tech to Dual Pixel AF.
Among all the talks going on, a 50W wireless charging support sounds a lot exciting.
