Recently, Dish Home, a well-known Direct to Home (DTH) TV service provider in Nepal commenced the Fiber To The Home (FTTH) internet service inside Kathmandu valley. And now we are seeing yet another TV service provider, Prabhu Group, operating second generation Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB-T2) in Nepal, launching the new Prabhu Digital that bundles up Prabhu TV and Prabhu NET for what’s called the “residential and enterprise-level internet service using world’s latest optical fiber technology.”
Alongside the new Prabhu Digital, Prabhu Group also incorporates a new payment partner to the platform, the IME Pay atop Prabhu Pay, eSewa, Khalti, and QPay for “quick and easy bill payment.”
The company is even launching the Over the Top (OTT) app providing consumers access to several TV channels via mobiles, tablets, as well as laptops/PCs with subscriptions available for a day, week, or month at prices starting NPR 10 up to NPR 200.
Prabhu had been teasing a new service launch for a number of days on its Facebook page, hence finally revealing the Prabhu Digital. However, it is yet to announce the available Prabhu NET packages, corresponding prices, and coverage areas. Bear with us for all the latest developments.
