Presidential Business School, located in Bhakti Thapa Sadak, Thapagaun, Kathmandu, together with Living with ICT is organizing the Presidential Business School (PBS) IT Career Conclave on its premises from 25 to 26 Poush 2077 (9 to 10 January 2021).
The 2-day IT career conclave looks forward to addressing the increasing use of technology in Nepal amidst the COVID-19 pandemic while the need for quality education in the field of information and communication technology. The event will focus on IT education in Nepal and the gap between academic courses and careers in IT.
Here’s how the event is scheduled across two days.

25 Poush 2077 (9 January 2021)
Session 1 (11:00 am to 12:00 pm): Discussion on emerging technology in the IT industry
Session 2 (12:30 pm to 1:30 pm): Discussion on innovation and technological entrepreneurship
Session 3 (2:00 pm to 3:00 pm): Question and Answer (Q &A) on IT career prospects
26 Poush 2077 (10 January 2021)
Session 1 (11:00 am to 12:00 pm): Issue on “Connecting Talent with Global Opportunities.”
Session 2 (12:30 pm to 1:30 pm): Discussion on “IT Grown in Nepal in the Next Ten Years.”
The program will also be live on various online and social media platforms. Similarly, invited guests and journalists will be attending the event in person while other participants can join via Zoom. Some international speakers as well will virtually participate in the panel discussion.
The conclave is going to be a public introduction to Presential’s latest academic offering in IT at undergraduate and graduate levels, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSc IT) and Master of Science in Information Technology (MSc IT).
Both the programs are being offered as of January 2021 under the affiliation of Westcliff University Irvine California, College of Technology and Engineering.
