Coolpad’s been around for a while in the Nepali market and they have already launched a handful of affordable devices. The latest to join the list is the Coolpad Cool 12A, an entry-level phone with a decent price and specs list.
To start off, the Cool 12A brings a 6.217-inch In-Cell panel with HD+ resolution; nothing fancy here, and above it is a teardrop notch that makes room for a modest 5MP selfie camera.
Talking about the camera, the rear features a triple-camera setup out of which the main one is a 13MP AI sensor that does the job. Coolpad says it’s unlike any of its previous entry-level smartphones as the phone performs much better in low-light situations. We’ll reserve the judgment for later once we get our hands on the phone. The remaining two are basic 2MP and 0.3MP cameras.

The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security purposes, while the rest of the feature includes a 4,000mAh battery, a double-glass body with Coolpad’s signature gradient color back, and Android 11 with almost stock UI.
