Launched a year ago in international market by former Apple CEO John Sculley, the Obi Worldphone is now coming to Nepal through the help of Jyoti Group.
The Obi Worldphone offers excellent build quality as well as quite good look at an affordable price tag. While other phones are targeting mid-range smartphone market with inferior build quality, Obi claims that their smartphone is specifically targeted for youths who are seeking excellent build quality with an impressive specs at an affordable price tag.
Currently Obi has been providing only three models of their smartphone, including Obi MV1, SF1 and SJ1.5, and as stated, all of these three smartphones will be available in Nepal from coming June 16, 2016. As stated by the company, the smartphone will be made available to users through online store as well as various authorized sellers across Nepal. While most of the people are opting in for Xiaomi and Huawei smartphones in Nepal due to their affordable price tag, it will be interesting to see Obi competing head to head against the likes of various Chinese smartphone manufacturer like Xiaomi and Huawei.
