Khalti and Big Movies have teamed up to offer an easy movie ticket booking facility using your mobile phones. The attempt is to ease the movie ticket booking and payment methods for the people.
Users can now book their movie tickets online via Big Movies website and pay from their Khalti account via Khalti’s website or the app.
Director of Khalti, Mr. Amit Agarwal said, “With this tie-up, our customers, especially movie & theatergoers, will have the unique advantage of buying tickets cashless by using their Khalti account. It adds a lot of value to Khalti users, who will now have, “Anytime, Anywhere” availability of movie tickets. We are adding many more features and services to Khalti very soon. ”
Similarly, Cinestar’s CEO, Mr. Bharat Agarwal stated, “As a service industry of digital era we always try our 100% to give satisfaction to our valuable customers. We are glad to partner with Khalti to enhance our services. Hope this tie-up makes online payment easier and faster. We ensure to provide smooth operation of online payment with Khalti for making our slogan ‘Anytime, Anywhere movie tickets’ happen.”
The Government of Nepal has recently started receiving revenues and all forms of taxes via online and thus this partnership of Khalti and Big Movies for the cashless online movie ticketing is expected to push the digital payment systems adoption in Nepal.
Recently, the company also partnered with QFX Cinemas to bring discounts and offers to its users.
