Century Commercial Bank Limited has signed up a MoU with Khalti with a view to facilitating digital payments to its customers. The Chief Operating Officer of Century Bank Limited, Mr. Deepesh Pradhan, and Khalti’s Director, Mr. Amit Agarwal signed the MoU agreement on Wednesday, Bhadra 6, 2075 (August 22, 2018).
Now Century Bank customers will be able to load their Khalti accounts via Century mBanking app and pay for goods and services using Khalti mobile app as well as Khalti web service.
On the agreement, Khalti’s Director Mr. Amit Agrawal said, “We are glad to sign MoU with Century Bank. Now, Century Bank users need not withdraw cash to pay for goods and services. They can simply pay via Khalti. The initiative would help consumers go cashless in payments and facilitate hassle-free transactions.”
Currently, Khalti has above 700,000 users that use it for various purposes including mobile balance top-up, water/electricity bill payment, DTH and internet bill payments, movie ticketing, airline ticketing, hotel booking and so on.
