MAW Enterprises Nepal, the authorized dealer of the Yamaha Motorcycle has now launched the 2019 FZS-FI v3 in Nepal at Rs. 3,09,900. The 2019 FZS-FI v3 receives major cosmetic changes inspired from the FZ 25 while the 149cc engine remains the same with no change in its performance.
Upfront, it gets the new split LED headlamps setup and muscular fuel tank but with fake air intake which now looks sharper making a distinct urban street fighter characteristic. There’s also a new instrument cluster which displays speedometer, tachometer, and a fuel gauge along with ABS warning lamp.
The FZS-FI v3 also gets a slightly raised handlebars, a single unit two-level seat for more comfort, and belly panel. Apart from that, the tail section gets a new single-piece grab-rail and revised tail lamp. Similarly, the bike now gets a new tire-hugger and revised exhaust pipe.
Besides that, it houses the same single cylinder air cooled 4 strokes, 2-valve, SOHC fuel injected 149cc “Blue Core” engine which can generate the max-power of 13BHP at 8000 RPM and max-torque of 12.8 NM at 6000 RPM mated with the same 5-speed gearbox transmission system.
The new FZS also gets the disc in front as well as rear with a single channel ABS system. It also gets the same telescopic suspension in the front and mono suspension in the rear.
