OPPO’s F-series gets a new member today, the F15, which pretty much resembles the OPPO A91, already launched in China last month.
The OPPO F15 gets a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that bears a 20:9 aspect ratio as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner. It has a Gorilla Glass 5 layer on top for protection with the waterdrop notch holding the phone’s only selfie camera, which happens to be a 16MP sensor.
Now, moving to the back, we see the device’s major highlight; a quad-camera setup that features a 48MP primary sensor paired alongside an 8MP ultra-wide shooter that can capture macro shots 3-8cm away from subjects. The remaining two sensors is a 2MP monochrome cam and a 2MP depth camera.
Inside, there’s MediaTek Helio P70 chipset accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage which can be expanded via microSD card.
The battery, underneath, sits at 4,000mAh capacity with 30W VOOC 3.0 fast charging, whilst software wise it boots on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 on top.
Pre-booking of the OPPO F15 is already up in India through Flipkart and Amazon for INR 19,990. As for the color options, the phone is available in Unicorn White and Lighting Black. Sales of the phone begin on the 24th of January.
