Ever since the launch of Poco X2 back in February, the Poco F2 stays a brainteaser. And now the latest leak from Xiaomishka on Twitter is tipping off its global arrival as of May in the form of a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro with model number M2004J11.
At the same time, India could get a new Poco device with model number M2003J6CI that is said to resonate with the Redmi Note 9 lineup in terms of features.
So, #POCOF2 (M2004J11G) is #RedmiK30Pro💯% for the global market without #5G, and the second model (M2003J6CI) is truly unique #POCO 😀 https://t.co/mBGmxC7b0q pic.twitter.com/CCB9IZhTD3

Poco suddenly seems interested in the international market. Earlier during the launch of Poco X2, the company quoted itself being a small startup interested in keeping itself inside just the Indian market. So many of us expected the F2 to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K30 Pro whenever launched in India, obviously since the company didn’t bother changing even a single specification as it came up with the 4G version of the Redmi K30 dubbed as Poco X2.
However, in March, Poco said that the upcoming Poco F2 won’t be a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro.
While the new leak claims otherwise, India could never see the F2 coming instead some other Poco model could launch as it points the rebranding to be limited to the global F2 version only.
It also states that the Poco F2 won’t get the 5G connectivity, but the Redmi K30 Pro powers on SD865 chipset alongside 5G. So if the F2 is the same device, it definitely should feature the same specifications too. Well, of course, Poco could opt out of 5G on the SD865 because earlier it did come up with a statement expressing the uselessness of introducing a 5G device without the necessary infrastructure being insufficient and mediocre.
It’s still skeptical what Poco could land at stores for the F2. Anyway, don’t expect a price below $300, after all the latest Qualcomm chipset does come costly.
