Oppo has unveiled two new phones in F-series — the F19 Pro and F19 Pro+ 5G. The two phones share almost similar specs besides the chipset and charging speeds.
The F19 Pro and Pro+ bring a 6.43 -inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. There’s also a punch-hole cutout on both phones that holds the 16MP selfie camera.
About the camera, the phone has OmniVision’s OV 48B 48MP sensor that goes with an 8MP ultrawide shooter and two 2MP modules for macro and depth perception. And as usual, Oppo has some software tweaks in its camera software like AI Highlight Portrait Video, Ultra Night Video, and Dual View video for capturing videos from front and rear cameras at the same time.
The Oppo F19 Pro+ has 5G which is enabled by MediaTek’s Dimensity 800U chipset coupled up with 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. The F19 Pro, on the other hand, has a downgraded Helio P95 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Powering the duo is a 4,310mAh battery but the charging speeds are different — 50W Flash charging on the F19 Pro+ and a normal 30W on the Pro model. Both phones ship with ColorOS 11.1 layered on top of Android 11.
As for the price, the Oppo F19 Pro goes for INR 21,490, which is around NPR 34,265 in Nepal for the 8/128GB variant. The 8/256GB trim will go for INR 23,490 (~NPR 37,454).
The Oppo F19 Pro+ can be purchased for a price of INR 25,990, which is approximately NPR 41,440 in Nepal for the 8/128GB model, however, there’s no 256GB variant here, which is kinda surprising given it’s a superior model.
Both phones will go on pre-booking starting tomorrow in India, while sales will begin on March 17.
