Vatsal Impex, the authorized distributor of Xiaomi phones in Nepal has launched the new budget-oriented Redmi Note 5A in Nepal. The device is currently available for pre-orders(until 19th of October) in Nepal for Rs. 17,499, while users pre-ordering the handset is assured to get a free Mi In-Ear Headphone Basic worth Rs. 999.

As for the specs, the Redmi Note 5A comes with a 5.5-inch 720p display protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 3. Underneath, there’s Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor accompanied by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with an option for expansion.
Shifting the focus to the rear, there’s a 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture rate, PDAF, and LED flash, whilst selfies are taken care by an average 5MP camera with f/2.0 aperture rate. The whole phone boots on Android 7.0 Nougat on top of MIUI 9, whereas powering the phone is a 3080mAh battery.
Despite lacking a fingerprint scanner, the 4G supporting phone is an ideal choice for users who are looking for a budget-oriented smartphone with decent specs.
