Xiaomi is expanding its accessories lineup in Nepal with the launch of the new Mi Portable Electric Air Compressor and the all-new Mi Air Purifier 3. Xiaomi says that the air compressor is something suited for “from a road trip to a long journey to the Himalayas.” The air compressor is a portable device to inflate any flat tire of your car, motorbike, and even a bicycle at any given place without needing an external power supply. Meanwhile, the Mi Air Purifier 3 could be handy given the increasing pollution and smogs in the cities of Nepal.
To talk about the Mi Portable Air Compressor, the device is built with quality ABS and has a built-in 2,000mAh lithium battery with an LED display that shows the current and preset tire pressure. Xiaomi claims that the device is able to inflate any tire within a 0-150 psi range, meaning it’ll come in handy while inflating your car, motorbike, bicycle, and even your sports equipment like football and basketball.
The air compressor comes with three different units to preset, including PSI, BAR, and KPA. Xiaomi also claims that the air compressor can fully inflate a car’s tire in about 6 minutes while inflating a bicycle can take about 3 minutes. The firm also says that the device can fully inflate up to 5 car tires and 8 bicycle tires on a single charge without any need for wire or external power source.
There are also safety features alongside it including an overpressure and overcharge protection which cut-offs the air inflation when it reaches the pressure set by you making it a convenient tool. On top of that, the air compressor also has ample heat dissipation and a shock-absorbing pad that makes it stable against the vibration of the cylinder.
Moving on to the Mi Air Purifier 3, it comes with triple-layer filtration — a primary filter, a true HEPA filter, and an activated carbon filter, something which Xiaomi says is “class-leading in the segment.” The primary filter does its job by filtering out the large particles in the air (PM10 and above), while the true HEPA filter is able to remove 99.97% of small pollutants (PM2.5). And finally, activated carbon is responsible for eliminating formaldehyde, toxic substances, and bad odor from the air. The 360-degree cylindrical filter design of the air purifier makes it easier to suction air from all directions.
The Mi Air Purifier 3 has a CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) of 380m³/h allowing it to deliver up to 6,333 liters of purified air every minute with a coverage of up to 482ft2. The air purifier has a minimalist design that Xiaomi vouch with a touch-enabled OLED display outputting the AQI (Air Quality Index) in real-time. You can also connect the Mi Air Purifier 3 to the Mi Home app for a real-time AQI monitor over the air.
