Samsung is latest to officially join the race in offering an affordable 4G handset. And the Galaxy J2 4G edition (also known as J2 2017) does that. The latest addition to the company’s J-series lineup is mostly targeted to users looking in for an entry-level phone, especially from brands like Samsung.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 4G edition sports a 4.5-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, providing rich colours and vibrancy, despite the low-res. Underneath sits the 1.3GHz Exynos 3475 quad-core chipset accompanied by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
Optically, the phone has a 5MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, while the front features a 2MP camera with a similar aperture rate. Take these specs into consideration, the phone could perform average in the camera department.
Powering the phone is a similarly average 2,000mAh battery, whereas the phone boots on Android 7.0 Nougat with some handy software features like Smart Manager. It basically allows users to manage their device performance for optimal usage.
As for the pricing, the 4G supporting phone can be purchased for Rs. 11,290 in Nepal with a colour option of Black and Gold.
