It looks like Samsung’s on a race of launching as much device as possible in Nepal. The Korean giant previously came up with offerings like the Galaxy J2 2018, Galaxy J4, and Galaxy J7 Duo. While they were no doubt great looking phones, the now launched Galaxy J8 looks like a good deal here.
A beautiful 6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display is what you see at first glance. And being a so-called Infinity display, the Galaxy J8 surprisingly has really narrow bezels both at the top and bottom. The display’s resolution is HD+ and has an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.
With Exynos being axed, the phone’s powered by a decent Snapdragon 450 chipset inside. The RAM is 4GB and the internal storage is 64GB. That should be enough for day to day usage and also for those who heavily consume media on smartphones. The option for microSD card expansion is also there.
Samsung’s camera is no doubt the best in the market. And the Galaxy J8 is no exception here. The Galaxy J8 comes with a pair of dual-camera at the back. There’s a duo of 16MP + 5MP camera that works together to create visually appealing images. Out of two, the first is a normal sensor, while the latter is used to capture depth information. After cohesively working together, the camera produces great portrait shots with blurred images. This can be done through Samsung’s Live Focus option on the camera. Interestingly enough, users can re-adjust the focus as per their need even after taking shots.
At the front is an equally appealing camera as well. All thanks to the 16MP front unit that should fulfill the need of users who crave for selfies.
With all the fancy features, the Galaxy J8 is powered by a 3,500mAh battery that should last at least you a day of usage.
Samsung Galaxy J8 Price in Nepal
As far as pricing is concerned, Samsung’s phones have constantly received slack for pricing their device higher than needed. And it looks Galaxy J8 could face a similar fate. Price at Rs. 33,490, despite great features and design, the Samsung Galaxy J8 is still a bit on the higher side compared to the likes of other mid-rangers in the Nepali market. Hope this will change soon. Rest assured, what do you think about the phone?
