The Pocophone F1 got the MIUI 10.3.5.0 thereby bumping up its Android security patch level to May 2019. The phone had received the earlier update, i.e. MIUI 10.3.4.0 back in early April and thus the users got the Widevine L1 support along with Game Turbo on their phones.
This new build which was about 390MB in size brought new features like lock screen clock that can be accessed via Settings>Lock screen & password>Advanced settings menu. But the clock doesn’t work with third-party themes.
Moreover, this MIUI 10.3.5.0 brings optimization sorting principles for Wi-Fi networks and fixes dual apps disappearing after reboot issue.
The new update is Android Pie based. However, global head of Pocophone, Alvin Tse confirms that the phone will eventually get Android Q update, though, he didn’t mention any time frame regarding the update.
We will get to Q.
