Lately, the leaks about the Samsung Galaxy M51 surfaced a lot, pointing out the phone’s humongous battery. The Korean giant has now launched the phone in Europe, so what’s the take here?
The leaks have come true as the Galaxy M51, indeed, has a massive 7,000mAh battery, making it possibly the biggest battery in a phone in 2020. Regardless, you’re still getting a much bigger battery than Samsung’s flagships in 2020. This should put the phone’s endurance to at least two to three days of usage, though, we have to test it in a review. Delivering power to the battery is a 25W charging, which might seem small for such a gigantic power cell, nevertheless, it’ll still get the job done.
The previous leak also pointed the phone to have a Snapdragon 730 chipset but Samsung is yet to announce it, as its website states that the Galaxy M51 comes with an unnamed octa-core processor. Nonetheless, there’s 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage which is expandable.
It looks like the Galaxy M51 also has pretty capable cameras, including a quad-cam setup at the back. This features a 64MP main shooter, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with 123-degree FoV, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. Selfies, on the other hand, are taken care of by a 32MP sensor housed inside a punch-hole.
Besides, the phone has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel with most probably FHD+ resolution, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Samsung Galaxy M51 has already gone for pre-order in Europe through Samsung’s website for a price of €360. Users can choose between two color options: black and white. You can check it’s expected price in Nepal below.
