Xiaomi’s Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus comes with edge-less displays and a price tag you won’t believe.
The recent rumors pointed out Xiaomi‘s two new mid-rangers to come up with top-notch displays and great pricing. And it definitely holds out to be true. The Chinese giant has finally taken the wrap of their new Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus in China. This means the phone gets an add-on to Xiaomi’s ever-growing Redmi lineup.

At the rear, there’s a 12MP camera with 1.25-micron pixels, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and LED flash. Selfies are taken care of by a 5MP camera with soft-light selfie flash. Powering the phone will be a 3,300mAh battery, whereas the fingerprint scanner is present at the back.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus
The Redmi 5 Plus is a pumped-up version of the Redmi 5. The phone sees significant upgrades in most of the corner, including the Snapdragon 625 chipset and a 5.99-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080) 18:9 display. Similarly, the phone will also hit the market in two variants. The earlier one will boast 3GB of RAM and 32GB ROM, whereas the second one will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB ROM.
Camera wise, the phone comes with a similar sensor to that of the Redmi 5. At the rear, it’s the 12MP sensor with 1.25-micron pixels, f/2.2 aperture, and PDAF. The front also shines the exact same configuration as the Redmi 5. However, the 4,000mAh battery present inside the phone creates a superior margin here.
