The all-new facelifted Hyundai IONIQ 2020 EV has been launched by Laxmi Intercontinental, the authorized distributor for Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, for Rs. 55,96,000. Hyundai is starting its new decade with the IONIQ which comes with advanced features, better power, and long driving range.
The new Ioniq looks futuristic as it now gets the new iconic grille, LED Headlamps with stripped LED DRLs stretched downward, LED tail lamps and Smart Electric Sunroof. The interior of the Ioniq now seems to be more premium as it gets upmarket finishing like flat-bottom steering wheels with paddle shifter, 8-inch floating touch screen which supports Apple Car Play and Android Auto, heated and ventilated seats, drive mode select, wireless phone charger, etc.
The Hyundai IONIQ 2020 is powered with 38.3 kWh of an electric motor with a liquid-cooled battery power of 100 kW and a maximum speed of 165kmph which makes an output of 311km on a full charge making it qualified for long drives as well. It is loaded with safety features like a 7-airbags system, Hill Assist Control (HAC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Rear Parking Camera and Sensors.
Most importantly the charging period for this EV is about an hour for 0-80 with fast charger or six-hour in the normal charging point at home.
