Xiaomi has announced the new Redmi K30S smartphone with a 6.67-inch 144Hz LCD screen, 64MP primary camera, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. The Redmi K30S is a rebranded Mi 10T, however, with 8GB RAM paired with 128GB/256GB onboard storage and no memory expansion option.
The highlighting features include a single punch hole housing a 20MP selfie unit at the front underneath Gorilla Glass 5, a rear triple camera setup comprising an f/1.9 64MP wide, f/2.4 13MP ultrawide, and f/2.4 5MP depth sensor, and a massive 5,000mAh cell with 33W fast charge support. Even the back of the K30S gets the Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
As for connectivity, the device has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, 5G (SA and NSA), and a USB-C port.
The Redmi K30S is available in Cosmic Black and Lunar Silver colors with prices starting CNY2,599 ($390/€325) and CNY2,799 ($415/€350) for 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants respectively. In China, the device will hit the first flash sale on Singles’ Day on 11 November with pre-orders scheduled after four days.
