Lava’s been continuously pushing its entry-level phone to market with its Benco series. Now, the company is back with the BeU handset, which has unique crystal decorations at the camera hump and a rose gold color option.
Right next to the unusual crystal finish is a dual-camera placement of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor with an LED flash and fingerprint scanner.
The Lava BeU has a 6.08-inch display and a waterdrop notch that makes room for an 8MP selfie shooter. The resolution comes in at 720p with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Underneath is a Unisoc SC9863A chipset alongside 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage which is expandable via microSD card slot.
Out of the box, you’ll have Android 10 Go Edition as well as a 4,060mAh battery. The phone supports dual nano-SIM, has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an FM radio receiver for your convenience. As for the price, the Lava BeU goes for a price of INR 6,888 (~NPR 11,000) and will sell through offline and online stores in India.
