Xiaomi has released the new Redmi 10 Prime in Nepal. This Redmi 10 Prime is similar to the Redmi 10 global version, however, carries a 6,000mAh battery in place of a 5,000mAh cell. So, let’s take a quick overview of the device followed by its price and availability.
Redmi 10 Prime
The Redmi 10 Prime has a 6.5-inch LCD panel with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio underneath Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer.
Running on MIUI 12.5 atop Android 11, it is powered by a 12nm process-based MediaTek Helio G88 processor coupled with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of eMMC 5.1 onboard storage expandable via a dedicated microSDXC slot. A Mali-G52 MC2 unit handles the graphics.
It carries a quad-camera setup at the back including an f/1.8 50MP wide sensor with PDAF, an f/2.2 8MP 120-degree ultrawide, an f/2.4 2MP macro, and an f/2.4 2MP depth sensor while an f/2.0 8MP wide sensor at the front for selfies.
For connectivity, the smartphone uses Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, infrared port, USB Type-C 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack, thus FM radio.
There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security and Xiaomi says it’s dust and splash-proof to some extent.
A non-removable 6,000mAh battery keeps the lights on with support for 18W fast charging and 9W reverse charging.
